Hampta Pass Trek is a moderate trek with a scope for varying the duration to suit ones time. You start the trek in thick forest and then enter in open valleys with lush green cover of grass then the tree line stops and you cross to Hampta Pass and enter the barren landscape of Lahaul & Spiti. Hampta Pass Trek takes us over the majestic foothills of the Himalayas, the Pir Panjal Range, crossing at Hampta Pass (14100 ft.)
Day 1: The trip starts from Manali. From Manali we take a car to Jobri Nala. The trek starts from there. Our campsite today is Chika. A trek of about 4 kms. Have lunch on the campsite. Explore the surroundings. Dinner will be served at 8 P.M
Day 2: The trek starts in the morning post breakfast. Our destination will be Balu Ka Ghera. A sand island surrounded by ice capped mountains. An ice bridge lies nearby. Dinner will be served early as tomorrow we will summit Hampta Pass
Day 3: We start in early today. After crossing the ice bridge and passing through abundant green pastures, we climb atop the Hampta Pass. At the top, the magnificent Deo Tibba and Indra Killa come out of the hiding at their full glory. We will have packed lunch atop the pass. After that we climb backl down and set up camp at Jwara Nala.
Day 4: Post breakfast we trek down to Jobri Nala, the road head. There a car will take us back to Manali. Our service ends on reaching there. Leave with sweet adventurous memories of your trek.

Lunch: Khichri, Dum Aloo and Achaar
Packet Lunch: Alu Paratha with Achaar.
Snacks: Tea with Pakoda
Dinner: Rice, Dal and Sabji
Hot water is available on chargeable basis. 10 Rs/Litre.
Day 1: Drive to Jobri Nala and trek to Chika
Day 2: Chika to Balu Ka Ghera
Day 3: Summit Hampta pass and trek down to Jwara Nala.
Day 4: Jwara Nala to Jobri Nala and drive back to Manali

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the programme. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below –
Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash
Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
If for some reason you wish to cancel the trek, email intimation (firstname.lastname@example.org) needs to
be sent to along with telephonic information.
Note: WeTrekkers reserves the right to cancel a programme before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
Itinerary Changes & Trip delays: We plan itineraries based on the information available at the time of planning and in rare circumstances, they are subject to change. In the event that the itinerary is changed or delayed due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, transportation delays, government intervention, landslides etc., we will always aim to give you the best experience possible. However, WeTrekkers cannot be held responsible for the cost of delay or changes.
Please note: In case of refund, there will be a deduction of 5% (bank charges) from the total fee you have paid. Also, if you have opted for a trek insurance, the amount will not be refunded.
Refunds will be processed within 7 - 10 working days from the date of cancellation.
